"The World is Yours"
Those four words have a very special place in my heart, so much so that I have them tattooed on my ribs. For those of you wondering, the quote was not initially inspired by Scarface (I still haven't made time to watch the movie) but it's fine, I'm not mad about the coincidence!
My interest in physical activity blossomed at a young age, when I started swimming at a competitive level. Since being active was primordial for me, I studied physical and health education at McGill University where I had the privilege of being part of the swim team. I found yoga during those college years. It was a way to slow down and connect with my body; a way to stretch my sore shoulders! Little did I know that stepping into the the hot room at Modo Yoga Montreal would change my life forever.
As we all know, in order to keep us on our toes, life sometimes throws us some curveballs. Through some of my roughest innings, the practice of yoga allowed me to stay grounded and focused on my goals. Being able to take the peace that I find on my mat outside the studio walls has been a life changing skill for me. It made me realize that with a few deep breaths and the right mindset the world really is yours.

Reiki is a form of energy healing with roots in the Japanese tradition. It is a subtle form of energy work that can help ease tension and stress and is often used for personal wellness. This technique helps activate the natural healing processes of the body and restore overall well-being.
Because Reiki is not something that you can see, it can be difficult to wrap your mind around the concept. Think about it as an opportunity to take some time for yourself and truly work on your physical, mental and emotional wellness.
During your first session, I'll use the hands-on technique to assess the state of your overall energy. From there, we will chat about my findings and create goals so that I can help you help yourself!
My goal is to help you live a healthier life, whatever it means for you!
